Terms & Conditions

All quotations are made and orders accepted subject to the following terms and benefits and are in addition to your statutory rights which remain unaffected*. The term "hearing aid" refers to monaural or binaural fittings.

1.         Your Guarantees

a)  Your hearing aid is protected by the terms and conditions of the National Hearing Aid Guarantee Scheme (N.H.A.G.S.) from the date of delivery and fitting. The terms and conditions of the National Hearing Aid Guarantee Scheme are that, in the event of accidental total loss or damage beyond repair within the first 12 months, your hearing aid will be replaced with the same or a similar type of hearing aid (at our discretion) subject to:-

(i)  Any loss or irreparable damage being reported within 7 days to the N.H.A.G.S., Gateway House, Styal Road, Manchester, M22 5WY.  Telephone 0161 209 7005.

(ii)  Your paying only 5% of our retail list price current at the time of replacement as a contribution towards the cost of professional services. It may be necessary to have a new prescription and for impressions to be taken for your hearing aid. This will be most efficiently completed at your local hearing centre. Alternatively, if you are unable to call to see us, we will arrange a home visit for you.

(iii)  You will have the option to continue under the National Hearing Aid Guarantee Scheme from the end of the first 12 months after the delivery and fitting of your hearing aid. You will be sent a reminder of this opportunity before the first 12 months' guarantee expires.

b) In accordance with the terms of the guarantee provided by the manufacturer of your hearing aid, we undertake to make good, free of charge by repair or replacement, defects which under proper use may appear in your hearing aid within a period of 12 months after your hearing aid has been delivered and fitted. Liability for damage arising from misuse or attempted repair by persons other than those authorised by the hearing aid's manufacturer is specifically excluded from this guarantee. Hearing aids supplied under the terms of a Rental Agreement are also excluded and are covered separately under the terms of the Rental Agreement. Your rights to obtain a refund or repair of your hearing aid in the event of your being supplied with a faulty hearing aid are not restricted.

2.         Rehabilitation Consultation

With the fitting of every new hearing aid, a period of rehabilitation is necessary. As part of our commitment to providing you with continuing aftercare, we undertake to provide you with further personal consultations after the fitting of your hearing aid at no additional charge to you. Such consultations will assess your progress and offer any further assistance that may be required. These further consultations will be arranged with you or they may be be arranged by telephoning our Support Office as detailed below.

3.         30 Day Money Back Guarantee

Your hearing aid is supplied to you with the full benefit of our 30 Day Money Back Guarantee of Satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with your hearing aid you may return it to us within 30 days of the date of fitting. We will refund the price of the hearing aid in full minus a fee for professional services provided amounting to 12.5% of the price paid. No charge is made in the event of cancelled orders prior to fitting. Your rights to obtain a refund or repair of your hearing aid in the event of your being supplied with a faulty hearing aid are not restricted.

4.         Price Promise 

Terms & Conditions apply. Offer subject to availability. Offer is limited to the hearing aid ranges featured in the current Amplifon Price List. This offer cannot be combined with any other promotion, offer or discount. Any competitor price comparison must be on an official printed quotation, dated within 28 days, at an outlet within thirty miles of the nearest Amplifon Hearing Centre to the customer's reidential post code and be for a direct like-for-like hearing aid model/models. This offer does not apply to hearing aids that you buy online. This offer may be withdrawn at any time without prior notification. All rights reserved. All Amplifon Hearing Aid Dispensers are registered health professionals and are regulated by the Health Professions Council.
